Ben Forbes

Director

Ben is the Director and founder of BF Economics. He has over 15 years as an economist advising on a range of competition and regulatory matters from mergers to market investigations and competition litigation. This includes advising on dozens of mergers (from ambient cakes, to online blinds and athleisure clothing), investigations into retail banking and credit information, and large litigation cases / class actions in the technology, transport, financial services, and telecoms sectors.

Prior to founding BF Economics, Ben was a Director in the competition economics practice of AlixPartners UK LLP in London. Ben started his career at the New Zealand Treasury.
